Teens Perform Swing Dance Routine That Is Unlike Anything You've Seen Before

When you think of swing dance, you probably imagine a 1940s woman in a flirty dress being thrown and spun around by a cool guy in a slick fedora. What you probably don't imagine are two incredibly talented teens performing a modern version of the dance to “Shut Up And Dance” by Walk The Moon.

Ryan Boz and Alexis Garrish have taken swing dancing to the next level with their impressive routine, which you absolutely cannot miss!

The dance couple performed at the U.S. Open Swing Dance Championship in Burbank, California and left the audience with their mouths hanging open by the end of it. The partners are perfectly in sync throughout their performance and not one step is out of place.

What's most impressive is that the teens had only prepared for one year before competing in the young adult division of the competition and took home the first place trophy, the highest West Coast Swing Honor possible!

Swing dancing runs in the family for both Ryan and Alexis -- their moms had competed against each other in swing for years, and now their children are on the same team!

Be sure to check out this first-place performance below!

You can tell they worked so hard for this moment and it totally paid off. If this doesn't make you want to put your dancing shoes on then I don't know what will!
