Police endanger themselves each day. They courageously face threatening conditions while their families pray that they get back home safely. There are recurring reports of police officers who weren’t performing in the most trustworthy fashion, but we think most officers are fair, respectable citizens who actually want to serve people.

Recently, a police officer called Cameron Tucker was at an establishment having dinner with his spouse, Justine. They were enjoying a meal together when someone named Juan stepped up to their table. He made an unanticipated demand.

Juan questioned Cameron if “he could pray over him and for his protection.” Cameron answered yes and Justine took a picture of Juan placing his hand on Cameron’s shoulder while Cameron bowed his head with closed eyes.

Justine posted the photo on Facebook. She recorded that Juan “said that he had felt compelled to talk to us and to pray over Cameron.”

Her message went viral. Today her post already has 23k likes, 4.6k comments, and 25k shares. Amazing! Numerous of the comments are prayers for Cameron, his family and for Juan.

For instance, somebody wrote, “Almighty God keep protection around this family the young man that is spreading your holy word!” The Facebook post is influencing more than Christians believers.

In particular, a person who is Wiccan seemed touched by the photo and wrote the subsequent comment, “While I am not Christian (I’m Wiccan) I can still feel the power and emotion behind this as I feel that the Creator we all worship, no matter your faith, is all one in the same."

What a touching and emotional moment. Were you ever compelled to pray for someone? What would be your answer if a stranger walked up to you and inquired if they could pray for you? Let us know in the comments and be sure to pass this article along to others.
