Teenage Girl Shocks 'America's Got Talent' Judges With An Emotional Rap About Her Father

Several of "America's Got Talent" contests understand that it is hard to stand up on a stage in front of tens of thousands of people and judges who have seen it all. It is hard to impress the four judges sitting at the panel on "America's Got Talent." While it is not easy, it is not impossible. This one 14-year-old girl had no idea her audition would receive such great feedback from the judges.

Flaujae Monae Johnson, 14, from Savannah Georgia is a rapper who wanted to carry on the legacy of her father. Her father was a rapper before he passed away shortly before Johnson was born. He was shot in the cruelest way.

She appears nervous but also excited, at the same time. The song is an original, and at the time of her performance, she was worried some people weren't emotionally ready to hear what she had to say. "America's Got Talent" judge Simon Cowell gave her a few words of encouragement. Before she starts her performance, she looks over at her mom standing at the side of the stage and gathers up the strength to begin.

Johnson dreamed of sharing her talents with the world since she was a child, and now it is a reality. You are not going to want to miss this video. The song is a rap about gun violence.

Wow! It was indeed a fantastic performance! Johnson is very talented, and you could tell the audience understood her message. 

After her performance, she received a standing ovation from the audience and all four judges. Even Simon, the "strictest" judge was on his feet cheering Johnson on. He tells her that he doesn't know a whole lot about rap music, but he does know talent, and she has it. Simon thinks that she has a future rap career after he audition. Her rap on "America's Got Talent" is only the beginning.
