Being an older brother or sister is a mixed bag. While parents often thrust responsibilities such as looking after your younger siblings upon you, older siblings also have the chance of embarrassing their younger siblings with playful antics. One older brother in Central, Louisiana is making the most out of every chance he gets to put a smile on his younger brother’s face with a silly, but embarrassing, ritual.
Noah Tingle, older brother to Max Tingle, decided to greet his younger brother every day with a different costume when he gets off the bus from school.
Speaking with reporters from WBRZ, Noah said that he wanted to do something special with Max as it is his final year before graduating from high school. In wearing a different costume each day when Max returns home, Noah hopes to put a smile on his little brother’s face while also embarrassing him a tiny bit.

Continuing in his interview with reporters, the teen said that at first, his costumes were just silly clothes, but that now his outfits are becoming more and more elaborate. Part of that is due to donations Noah receives from fans after he became an unexpected social media star when his mom posted photos of his costumes to Facebook.
Dubbed “The Bus Brother,” Noah has dressed up as everything under the sun, including a firefighter, ninja, and even Chewbacca from Star Wars.
Since his older brother began dressing up to greet him, Max has more or less shrugged off Noah’s attempts at embarrassing him. In one video, a mildly annoyed Max attempts to avoid Noah, who is dressed as a gorilla, before his older sibling puts him in a big hug. The affection the two brothers have for one another has been praised by social media users, who find it a refreshing change of pace from the often-depressing stories one hears in the news.
Taking to Facebook, Noah thanked all of his fans for their kind words, calling their supporting humbling. Noah was also appreciative of how his mother’s videos created such a positive impact on social media and throughout the country.
