Sometimes, elderly individuals have trouble running errands. They might have trouble walking from store to store or have trouble pushing the cart inside the store so that they can get the items that they need.

In 2016, a woman who was 81 at the time went to her local Dollar General to pick up a few things she needed for her home. One of the things that she wanted to get was a soda. Because of her health, it was difficult for her to get inside the store to get something as simple as a drink.

Other customers saw the woman struggling to get out of her car and into the store. They didn't do anything to help her and only stood by to watch. There were even men who just walked right past the woman while she clearly needed help.

Fortunately, there was a 17-year-old nearby who saw the woman and knew that he had to help her. His aunt filmed the entire scene as the teen grabbed onto the woman and helped her across the parking lot.

The teen didn't stop there. He walked with the woman into the store. While in the store, he held onto her as she made her way around to get her bottle of soda. When she was done, the teen helped the woman out the door and back to her car. He was surprised by the lack of attention from the adults and knew that he had to do something.

Find out what the teen's aunt thinks about his actions and why he did what he did that day for the senior woman. Do you feel inspired by this act of kindness? Send this to your family and friends so they can use some inspiration as well!
