Do you want your faith in humanity to be restored? If so, check out this heartwarming story of generosity between two strangers. At a Walmart in Princeton, Texas, a customer found that their $110 grocery bill was more than they could afford. However, a miracle came through in the form of a selfless cashier.

John Lopez Jr., the teenage cashier who was assisting her, was able to help her without so much as a second thought. While she was stressing out about not being able to pay for her groceries, he told her that he would be able to cover it. Thanks to his sizable savings in his college fund, the 19-year-old was able to pay for her groceries.

His gesture didn't go unnoticed. Laci Smith, another customer, took a photo of Lopez in his moment of selflessness and shared the story to Facebook. As word spread of his generosity, a GoFundMe page was created for his college fund.

Lopez's college fund was started to help himself, but it ended up also helping someone else. The kind of generosity that he demonstrated will serve him well as he goes through college and goes further in his career. We can all learn from Lopez's example and remember how much of a difference a random act of kindness can make in people's lives.
