A teacher from Queensland, Australia crafted an incredibly thoughtful letter for her incoming class. The fourth grade teacher at Bowen State School has learned that many students have anxiety and stress about entering a new grade.

In an attempt to help her class feel more comfortable and confident, the teacher decided to put in some extra effort. She wrote a letter for the incoming class and offered a goodie bag to each student.

The poetic letter was designed to make each student feel more confident about their transition into fourth grade. In the goodie bags, the teacher placed a series of school supplies which corresponded with a sentiment expressed in the letter.

The eraser was intended to remind the students that mistakes are inevitable and acceptable. The stickers expressed how the class and teacher would stick together throughout the year.

Towards the end of the letter, the teacher encouraged her students to try their best, work hard, and aim high.
