Not all superheroes wear capes. Some are merely teachers. A special education teacher from the state of Georgia demonstrated her love and commitment to her students when she asked three of them to walk her down the aisle when she recently got married.
Colleen Powell is a 25-year-old teacher at the Lakeview Academy in Milledgeville. She asked three of her favorite 10-year-old students to be a part of her special day. The three students were Dominic May, Jay Hurt, and Korde Solomon. May has Down syndrome while Hurt and Solomon have other disabilities.

"Especially just having five or six kids, they become your own,” Powell explained to WMAZ. “Since I don’t have any kids of my own, I call these three my babies.” She said that she always knew that the three boys would have an important part in her wedding ceremony.
“I’d always said my boys are going to be in my wedding because they’re just the biggest piece of my heart,” she said to Today. “They mean as much to me as anyone else that was there.”
Shiquana Solomon said to Today that her son had a wonderful time celebrating his teacher. He was so happy that he even started dancing as he made his way down the aisle, much to the delight of everyone in attendance. Despite their physical limitations, the boys did a fantastic job in their roles of accompanying their beloved teacher to the altar.
The joy on everyone's faces is clearly evident when you look through the pictures of this amazing day. After you have had the chance to check out this happiness, be sure to spread the love to everyone else you know.
