Teacher Clapped Back After Facing Backlash For Wearing Clothes Deemed ‘Inappropriate’ By The Internet

Back in the day, women weren't allowed to wear whatever they wanted. But times have changed, which means women can now freely choose whatever clothes they want to wear, depending on the situation, of course. Some might be deemed inappropriate, especially when worn in public.
In schools, for one, teachers and students alike need to wear uniforms or outfits in a professional setting. Or in the case of teachers or professors, clothes that aren’t very revealing since they will be facing their students.
While it’s true that some schools have strict guidelines on dress codes, that’s not always the case. Some schools might require teachers to wear certain outfits while others won’t, depending on their policies.
At the end of the day, it’s always at the discretion of the school. If the school itself decided to allow teachers (or students) to freely wear what they wanted, then what’s there to criticize? Well, it turns out people always have something to say — even if you didn’t violate anything at all.
Victoria, a TikToker who goes by @victoriaren97, is a Scottish secondary teacher who teaches biology. But most of the videos she put out on TikTok are not science related. She mostly shares cute videos of herself at her most fashionable. She has grown quite a following after she started documenting her #OOTD (Outfits of the Day) on TikTok. Most of the outfits she shares with her followers on TikTok are ones that she wears to school.
From blazers and dresses to shoes, just name it, Victoria has them all.

While a lot of people enjoy watching her videos, there are also those who find some of her outfits inappropriate.
The Sun reported about a since-deleted video of hers, in which people started calling out the “inappropriate” clothing she wore in a school setting. One of the commenters wrote: "If we wore this into school we would simply get *FiReD*."
"How can you literally wear a shirt with no trousers/leggings to work? I love the outfits but have you even been told they are too short?" wrote another user.
Victoria knew she had to address the comments thrown against her. So, she hit back at them and said that her school isn’t that strict at all when it comes to outfits worn by teachers. She further explained that she is “definitely aware” of the clothes she’s wearing, dismissing any speculations from the commenters. Victoria seemed to be unbothered about what other people had to say about her as she went on to post more videos of her colorful outfits.
The teacher is also on Instagram and is known as Miss R on the photo and video-sharing platform. According to her Instagram bio, she loves “picking cute outfits and sharing them with anyone who cares.”
Unlike on TikTok, she mostly uses Instagram to pose for photos and flaunt her outfits. One day, she took a break from posting her #OOTD and shared a compilation of clips featuring some of her previous looks.
“Taking a few days off from posting new outfits so here is a reel! Colourful trousers for teaching — smart and bright!” she wrote in the caption of the video she posted on Instagram.
If there’s one thing Victoria has taught us, it’s always to freely express ourselves through the clothes we wear.
