Every day, it seems as if some new and horrible story goes viral. Stories about bullying and fighting in schools are everywhere. That's why it's so important to celebrate small moments of kindness.

A couple of students at an elementary school in the Philippines demonstrated recently that compassion and kindness aren't as uncommon as we think. The story of Hans and his two friends was reported on by Newsflare on Rumble. Hans attends Mouaque Resettlement Elementary School along with Karl and Yuan. Unlike the other students, Hans has cerebral palsy.

Because of his illness, Hans needs help with day-to-day activities. Christine Lopez, the special education teacher who teaches Hans, asked Yuan and Karl to help him complete certain tasks. As time went on, the boys continued to help Hans on their own.

In a sweet video, you can watch the boys as they help Hans eat his lunch. They went above and beyond, feeding Hans chips and even bringing over a fan to make sure that he was comfortable. Hans' mother Jocelyn thanked Ms. Lopez and her little boy's classmates. "Now I know why Hans loves going to school every day," she said in Newsflare.

The compassion that these kids show is a great reminder that we should all be a little kinder to the people around us. It's also a great reminder that there might be a lot of sad stories, but there are just as many good, uplifting ones.
