Swimsuit Model Says She Is Unable To Find Real Love Because She Is Too Good Looking On Talk Show

Everyone hopes to find love one day, but that was a task that seemed quite difficult for a swimsuit model by the name of Jenna Thompson. Thompson, who is from the United Kingdom, previously opened up about her difficulty in finding love because of her good looks.

As a model, she is used to receiving compliments about how stunning she is, but that could have been a double-edged sword. So many dating apps and sites focus on the quality of people’s appearance and their pictures as opposed to who they are deep down. How would Thompson know if someone truly loved her for her personality as opposed to just her outward appearance?

So, Thompson went on television in 2019 to air her grievances, explaining more about how there were several aspects that went into her struggles in finding a life-long partner. The swimsuit model admitted that she was definitely picky when it came to her taste in men, which could have contributed to her hardships in making relationships work and last.

The hosts even pivoted to Thompson to see if there was anything she could do differently to seem less intimidating, being that she is such a beautiful woman and has so many qualms when it comes to dating.

However, despite all of the ups and downs Thompson faced in her former love life, the swimsuit model never gave up on her search to find love. And now, it seems as if her luck in the dating world has taken a turn for the better.

Thompson opened up about her difficulty in finding love because of her good looks. She made an appearance on ITV's This Morning in 2019, where she spoke about her struggle to find the right guy for her. "It's absolutely impossible," she told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, adding that, at the time, she believed she intimidated nice guys.

"I think I intimidate guys. I intimidate nice guys," she claimed.

"So I seem to attract guys who are after one thing."

She added, “Or people who think they’ll have a go, have a shot and they seem to just want hook-ups. No one is looking for anything serious.”

Thompson also said that dating apps are to blame for her struggles, adding that people who use them "get a kick out of how many swipes they get." She said:

“So that narrows down any potential nice people. I’ve had some serious disasters. I had this guy who confessed that he was married, relatively late on into us dating. It was quite cold and wet on the day that he told me. He told me face to face and he actually slipped and fell over after me as I was trying to walk off. I had to take him to hospital as he knocked himself out.”

And although the struggle is clearly real, Willoughby couldn't help but beg the question: could Thompson be the one to blame? Perhaps, the hostess claimed, if Thompson changed her looks somehow, then perhaps it would become easier for her to find the right man. Thompson, however, was not keen on changing.

"If you change yourself, you’ll never be truly happy," Thomspon told the hosts.

"How long can you wear a mask before it starts to slip."

Thompson continued:

“You are not going to be authentic to the person you are dating. I think, why change the way I look to fit into a category for the sort of person I’m looking for. Maybe it’s just that I haven’t met that particular person yet.”

The model did, however, admit that her struggle to find the right person might also be due to her choice of men. Thompson explained that she liked “heavily tattooed guys, good looking, look after themselves, gym-goers normally.”

Intelligence, however, was still very important to her, as she likes deep conversations. “I don’t like small talk," she explained. "I like someone who has got a bit of depth and personality." Thompson added, “This is why I quite (like) people who are heavily tattooed. They are normally quite deep and artistic. I am really choosy but why not? I have two little children so I have to be picky.”

However, since her TV appearance, Thompson has found love! Her Instagram page is now filled with happy photos of her alongside her beau. She captioned one photo: “Through thick & thin ❤️ ❤️❤️”

In another post, Thompson wrote:

“This is what happy looks like, no matter what life throws at you, being around the right people will always let you shine … we love YOU ❤️ you can overcome anything if you have love. Choose love … always #love”

It’s unclear when Thompson’s relationship with her partner started, but what is clear is that the two have a great amount of love for one another. We’re happy to see Thomspon finally found love!
