Superstar Bruno Mars Serenades James Corden On Carpool Karaoke - Is It The Best One Yet?

Aug 15, 2018 by apost team

Let's be honest; "Carpool Karaoke" on the "Late Late Show With James Corden" is always a TV treat. Mariah Carey launched the segment in 2015 as the first memorable guest, belting out her faves like "Always Be My Baby" and "Fantasy."

Since then, other stars have also made fabulous car passenger/singers like Adele, Justin Bieber to former first lady Michelle Obama. Adele appeared to be the hands-down favorite when her carpool debuted and stole more than 180 million YouTube views.

Now, would superstar Bruno Mars be able to top that?

The famous chart-topper looked fly when he joined Corden's carpool karaoke segment. Bruno was decked out in a colorful, silk shirt with lots of chains, shades and a baseball-style XXIV cap. He talked with Corden about his childhood dream at age four to become a famous performer someday.

As a kid, he was already imitating Elvis Presley in his father's 1950’s rock and roll revue in Waikiki. The television late host admits that Bruno Mars was his top favorite carpool star, and the singer did not disappoint. Bruno delighted Corden and the masses with hits like "24K Magic," "Lock Out of Heaven," "Grenade," "Versace on the Floor" and "Uptown Funk." The multi-award singer also serenaded with a little Elvis Presley in "Jailhouse Rock."

Corden was blown away and actually felt a bit depressed after it was over. He waited for so long for the moment to work with Bruno Mars and didn't want the time to end.

Bruno Mars is incredible to see even as he performs in a car, and this video is a gem. James Corden likes everything about the singer, including his fancy duds and individual style of wearing hats so well. He even showed off the Elvis upper lip curl.
