Sunday Night Fire Destroys The New York Home Of Rachael Ray

Rachael Ray’s home in Warren County, NY went up in flames on the evening of Sunday, August 9, 2020. Luckily the television personality and her family are all safe.

According to the Warren County Office, the fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. on August 9. Further information about the origin of the fire has not been made public and is still under investigation, though it is not believed to be suspicious.

Luckily, “Rachael, her husband and their dog Bella are safe," as Charlie Dougiello, Ray's representative, told USA TODAY in a statement. He added that "the house is unfortunately damaged and we don't yet know to what extent."

In a tweet on Monday morning, Rachael Ray revealed that right now she’s feeling rather grateful for everything she has, instead of focussing on the things she lost, saying:

“Grateful that my mom, my husband, my dog… we’re all okay. These are the days we all have to be grateful for what we have, not what we’ve lost.”

The celebrity chef also expressed her gratitude towards all local first responders who did their best to stop the flames and save the family’s belongings:

“Thank you to our local first responders for being kind and gracious and saving what they could of our home,” Ray tweeted. “
