Students Surprise Severely Bullied Teen After Weeks Of Planning: 'You Deserve More Than This'

Bullying seems to be a big topic these days. Unfortunately, it’s quite an issue in schools today. Azzy wasn’t a stranger to being bullied. His mom Traci Robinson had seen him endure quite enough. She watched as her bubbly compassionate son turned into something he wasn’t. He began spending a large amount of time in bed sleeping. He just didn’t know how to deal with the constant bullying that he was enduring.

Azzy couldn’t seem to find his self-worth in the midst of things. Because everyone else treated him so bad, he didn’t feel like he meant anything to anyone.

Traci stepped in and decided to transfer Azzy to a different school where he could have a fresh start. Little did he know that his life would soon change due to the students and staff at his new school at LaVergne High.

The new start allowed Azzy to show people who he really is. He was able to share his caring and kind personality again. He didn’t miss the opportunity to help in the classroom or even assist when peers needed help.

Once his classmates in his new school found out the reason behind Azzy’s transfer, they felt something needed to be done to show him just how much he means to everyone. They decided to ask for the help of a teacher, Sonji Newman. They wanted to make Azzy smile and feel appreciated.

It took them weeks to have everything planned out and worked out. It was a big surprise that they worked very hard to keep quiet.

But one day, his new classmates approached his desk and revealed the surprise to him. They had some very special presents just for him. They wanted him to have these things because he is such a generous person. You can tell that Azzy was truly grateful for the whole experience.
