Stray Dog Snatches Slice Of Pizza From Workers During Lunch Break, Leads Them To Starving Family

When animals are hungry they will do just about anything to get a bite. That's the case for any animal, no matter the species. Even us humans can't live without food and are desperate when we find ourselves without any.

In April 2018, some workers were taking their lunch break over in the Palo Alto area located in California. They bought a pepperoni pizza to share.

While they were enjoying their pizza, they were approached by a scruffy looking dog. They didn't think too much about it until the stray stole herself a slice of pizza for her very own.

The workers didn't get angry about it. They knew this dog needed some food as she appeared very malnourished. Without thinking twice about it, they decided to help this little one out.

An individual in the group put out a call to the Peninsula Humane Society and also the SPCA to let them know about the poor little pup. It wasn't long at all before they arrived to rescue her. What they found was a shock. This hungry pup wasn't just caring for herself but she had recently birthed a litter of puppies.

She didn't hesitate to let them know about her puppies and led the rescuers straight to them. The puppies were only a few days old and were barely alive due to starvation.

This momma pup, now named Queen Elizabeth, knew she had to take care of her little ones and was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen.

Isn't this just the greatest story you have heard in a while. It really makes one have faith in humanity once again!
