Every generation is known for its own era of entertainment, whether it be popular songs, films, or dances. In an impressive dance video from 2019 that illustrates just that, Ricardo Walker's Crew goes through different periods of music and dance, starting in the 1950s with Singin' in the Rain and ending with Lil Nas X's 2019 hit, Old Town Road.

Most of us have learned and practiced the popular dances as kids, whether in front of the mirror or simply by showing off to a friend or family member. One dance crew that takes this evolution of dance very seriously is Ricardo Walker's Crew.

Walker's Crew specializes in showcasing the evolution of dance performance, nailing all the right songs from the 1950s to date. They put in the extra mile by also coordinating their outfits to match the given era of the dance. From quirky songs like Bye Bye Bye by NSYNC to Hound Dog by Elvis Presley, this dance crew has performed nothing short of excellence.

The performance begins with one iconic song, Singin' in the Rain by Gene Kelly before going right in to Hound Dog. The dancers sway in accordance with each tune, quickly changing costume and dance styles as needed. After Presley's song, the next is Tutti Frutti by Little Richard.

Then, we get into the 1960s, with the hit song, I Feel Good by James Brown. Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five are too iconic to not be included in their evolution of dance. I Want You Back makes its appearance in this performance and the crew really knows how to boogie it down!

When Michael Jackson's most popular song, Thriller begins playing, the crew perfectly replicates the original music video. One dancer is wearing Michael's Jackson signature look: a black and red jacket. The rest are dressed as zombies and replicated the original dancers from the video.

After that throwback, Irene Cara's What a Feeling begins playing. To match the mood, the dancers are dressed in leotards, a fashion that was popular in the 1980s. Of course, the men are in on it, too!

Of course, no evolution of dance would ever be complete without MC Hammer's Can't Touch This. The performance is complemented with a retro look complete with baggy pants. The dance is so unique that it perfectly matches the catchy tune of the song.

Moving up the eras, the next song on the list is Vogue by Madonna. Following this, we have a throwback of the Backstreet Boys in their most famous song Everybody. The crew dances to these iconic songs perfectly, not missing a single beat.

The next two songs are Bye Bye Bye By NSYNC and Single Ladies by Beyonce. A popular hit of its time, almost every girl can recall singing along to Beyonce's hit music. If not, maybe you have attempted to replicate the Crank Dat by Soulja Boy dance.

Leading up to the end of the evolution, we find that Gangnam Style by PSY has also made it to the music remix. While rather unexpected, the music video alone had a billion views during its initial release! Surprisingly, Drake also makes it in.

Drake was one of the top artists of the 2000s. While there were countless songs they could have chosen, they chose to dance along to the catchy beats of In My Feelings. The evolution finishes with a final performance on the song, Old Town Road by Lil Nas X. The performance ends right in 2019.

The video has garnered more than 24 million views and more than 20,000 comments. One comment says:

"[C]an we appreciate the fact that the costumes probably took so long to find everything, shoes, hair done etc... don't get me wrong the dining was amazing."

Another viewer comments:

"This was like time travel through dance. I was born in the early '60s. Made me smile so much!! Thank you!" Everyone absolutely loved this perfect evolution fo dance and the extra mile that the crew took to make it unique.
