America's Got Talent has another contestant to love with Michael Ketterer, a father and singer who wowed audiences and judges on the hit show after telling the world about his life. Mr. Ketterer works as a pediatric nurse in California, but he's also a pastor who records religious music with a Christian record label from Anaheim Hills

As if this wasn't enough to keep any man busy, Michael Ketterer is also a father to six children, five that he adopted with his wife Ivey. One of his children suffers from cerebral palsy. Amidst all of this, Michael keeps the faith and enjoys singing to his family.

Michael was visibly anxious when he came up on the famous stage at America's Got Talent. However, audiences and judges alike became fast fans of the sweet man. When he started singing his blues-y rendition of the classic song "To Love Somebody," originally recorded by the Bee Gees, everyone was in awe.

His deep, soulful voice had everyone listening attentively to every note. When he was done singing for the nation, the judges had their chance to critique him. Simon Cowell is usually the most difficult judge to please, which is why everyone was shocked when he gave Michael his honest opinion.

Simon talked a bit about what judges are looking for in a singing contestant, namely technical details and entertainment value. Cowell told Michael that he wasn't sure the singer would hold up.

He was so obviously nervous that Simon had his doubts, but Simon was wrong. He was completely wowed by Michael's performance, standing up and giving Michael the best possible outcome, one of the best moments of the show so far this year.

See for yourself how Michael left his audience, and legendary curmudgeon Simon Cowell in awe.
