Sophie Turner And Joe Jonas Just Got Hitched (Again) In France

Following an impromptu Las Vegas wedding last month, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner just got married for the second time, in what Turner described as what would be a more ‘traditional’ affair.

The two were surrounded by family and friends and a number of A-listers, such as Dr.Phil, Ashley Graham and none other than the Maid of Honor herself, Maisie Williams. 

A rehearsal dinner was held the evening prior, where the newlyweds were all dressed up in red and the wedding party and guests in white. Danielle Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, Turner’s sisters-in-law, were spotted at the ceremony, as well as a number of Game-of-Thrones co-stars.

Nick, Kevin and youngest brother Frankie Jonas were all groomsmen to Joe on his special day. It was the second time for Kevin and Nick, as they had also been groomsmen at Sophie and Joe’s previous Vegas wedding. 

As the bride walked down the aisle, country duo Dan + Shay performed their hit song Speechless. The wedding was, in true Las Vegas style, officiated by an Elvis impersonator and live streamed on Instagram by Diplo. Instead of wedding bands, the lovebirds exchanged Ring Pops. 

Their second wedding took place at a breathtaking wedding venue in Sarrians, the Château de Tourreau, in France. 

According to In Style, the location of the affair was accidentally given away by a friend of the couple who had posted a shot of the invitation in their Instagram Story (now deleted). The invitation apparently read “Sophie and Joe 2019 France”. Following the incident, Joe confirmed the wedding would, in fact, be held in France and would take place in the summer this year. He also mentioned that they aimed to incorporate both their backgrounds into the celebration.

In addition to the location, the date was also given away by Dr. Phil in a comment on Sophie Turners Instagram, when she uploaded a photo of her and Joe smooching in front of the Eiffel tower last Saturday. 

"Easy now! 1 week to go!" the comment read.

The couple got engaged back in October 2017, following a bit more than a year of dating. The pair was rumored to have been dating back in November 2016, when Joe was spotted at the MTV EMAs with his arm around Sophie. In an interview with the Sunday Times, Sophie said that Joe came into her life when she needed him the most. 

"I was going through this phase of being very mentally unwell," she said. "He was like, 'I can't be with you until you love yourself, I can't see you love me more than you love yourself.' That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way."

The 23-year-old also revealed that the couple had split for one day prior to their Vegas nuptials, due to them both getting cold feet. 

"It was the worst day of our lives," she said. "For a second, we both had cold feet, then 24 hours later we were both like, 'Never mind.'"

We’re glad their still an item!
