It seems like nothing can stop the gymnastic force that is Simone Biles. At the young age of 22, the champion is not only the best gymnast in the country but in the world. This past weekend, the gymnast did not only successfully complete one never-before-competed move but she also became the first woman in history to complete a triple-double during competition.

Simone made headlines in 2016 at the Olympics in Rio when she received a gold medal for winning the all-around competition. But she’s not done yet. Today, the gymnast is breaking more records and she’s not even at the 2020 Olympics. At the 2019 US Gymnastic Championships in Kansas City, MO, the 22-year-old took home her sixth national all-around win.

The two-day event had Simone leading the entire duration. In her history-making routines, she performed a never-before-competed double-twisting, double somersault dismount on the beam. “I’m really happy with the beam dismount and how it’s come along because if you had asked me after [U.S. Classic] if I was going to complete it, I would’ve said no,” Biles admitted to Team USA. “I feel like in those short two weeks we did a lot of work on a couple of the events, so I’m pretty excited with how it turned out.”

Not only that but Simone also perfectly landed a triple-double during her floor routine. Olympic gold medalist and commentator during Simone’s performance said, "Simone's got enough gold medals at home. Someone give this girl a crown," after the gymnast became the first woman to land the move. The win is the first time in nearly 70 years that a woman has won 6 U.S. all-around titles according to Team USA
