Someday, You're Going To Find Someone Who Feels Like Home

Someday, you are going to find someone you want to spend all your time with. You will want to spend your night with them and also love waking up with them by your side.

This person is going to be able to see you for who you truly are, not just the front you put on for everyone around you. They will know when you are being honest and when you are lying. They will be able to tell you what you are thinking and feeling, sometimes before you know yourself.

They will let you in without hesitation. They will know you are safe for them. You can talk to them about your goals in life and your dreams. You will be able to tell them what you want.

You will be able to talk to them about your past mistakes, without fear of judgement. You know they will understand what you have been through. You will be able to tell them about your insecurities. They will be able to break through your walls like no one has been able to do before in the past and you will be okay with it. You will be just happy that you found them.

You will know they aren’t perfect. But you won’t care. You see all of their imperfections as a gift. You see the reason behind their imperfections. You will know they are just how they are supposed to be and they will think the same thing about you. When they are happy, you will be happy for them. When they hurt, you will be angry at who hurt them.

You can’t fix what either of you has gone through before meeting each other. But suddenly, it no longer seems to matter all that much. Everything you have gone through was only leading up to meeting this person. Everything from before all happened for a reason.

You will feel yourself through another soul. You feel as though you are a part of them and they are a part of you. You will want to be their future and their home. You can’t picture your future without them by your side. And when you see that, you are nothing but happy. The road ahead of you is finally one you can share with this person. You suddenly know you will never have to be alone.

You realize that they are important to you and know that you are also just as important to them. You know they always have been and always will be. You will remember every detail about them, their looks and their features. No one will understand what you have with them. But it is yours.

You then say the three simple words you have never been able to confidently say to another person. And you won’t hold them back. Because you know they are feeling it too. 

You are going to look at them and know that you are finally home.
