Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' first onscreen pairing was in 1933's Flying Down to Rio. It soon became apparent that Fred and Ginger had a talent for expressing a wide range of emotions through their dancing. They could tease a crowd, show an almost childlike exhilaration, and tell the story of a courtship and love affair. The pair of dancers had an onscreen chemistry that propelled them to fame in the 1930s. The dynamic dancing duo starred in 10 movies together according to IMDb, and their legacy lives on to this day.
