Jennifer Lopez and Shakira blew up the stage at last night's Super Bowl halftime show at Hard Rock Stadium in Miani with an electrifying performance that had audiences raving. But some social media users were not impressed by one particular set-piece that J. Lo absolutely rocked – her "Hustlers" inspired pole dance.

Last year, the 50-year-old singer/dancer/actress starred in "Hustlers," a movie based on a true story of strippers stealing from their club's Wall Street clients. She trained in pole dancing and took the skills she learned to the Super Bowl stage.

The athletic feat was done perfectly by the seasoned entertainer and she did a short routine of spins and twirls on a pole in the middle of the stage. Some Twitter users supported the pole dance like singer Jojo who exclaimed she was "living" for it, and others joked that it was a reminder that the Oscars snubbed her for her "Hustlers" role.

Some people on Twitter were really not there for it, however, including one user who tweeted @ the NFL saying that they need "to get more family friendly performances for halftime," continuing on to say that it was not fit for those under 21.

One mom took to Twitter to mention that she shut down her daughter's comment when she saw J. Lo on the pole and said "I wanna do that!"

What do you think about J. Lo's pole sequence? Was it too sultry for the Super Bowl or was it an artistic and athletic expression? Let us know your thoughts.
