Soldier Returns From Deployment Early To Crash His Dad's 50th Birthday

Surprise homecoming videos from military members never get old. Especially when a sailor returns home to crash his father's 50th birthday party.

This particular video is especially touching. The clip starts with a man being wished happy birthday by his sailor son who had been serving in Bahrain. The video had been recorded earlier and the dad was watching his birthday greeting with his friends and family gathered around him. The sailor wishes his father a happy 50th birthday and apologizes that he is not there to celebrate with him.

As the dad began to tear up, the sailor told his dad to suck it up and not be sad. Everyone in the room was laughing at the little joke and it was clear that the father was deeply missing his son.

Suddenly, a woman in the room instructs the birthday boy to turn around give his son a hug. It is then apparent that the sailor had snuck into the room to surprise his unsuspecting father.

The dad could hardly contain his emotions as he rose to his feet to embrace his beloved son. The family was enjoying their time together when Toby Keith's patriotic song, "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" began to play in the background.

Be sure to spread the joy to everyone else in your social network. We thank this sailor for his service and are so grateful that he is home safe with his family once again. This will be a birthday that this military dad will never forget.
