  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar
  • 7 ounces of margarine or butter

First you need to mix the margarine, sugar and the salt as well as the vanilla sugar. Then add the eggs, baking powder, and the flour. Now you will have a creamy mix. Next, you add the nuts, the marzipan, and the grated chocolate.

If the dough should be a bit too firm, you can add a little bit of milk. The consistency of the dough depends on the size of your eggs.

Now get the dough ready for baking. Just grease a baking tin and line it with a little bit of flour or breading. This makes sure the cake doesn't stick to the tin after it's done baking.

Now let the cake sit in the oven for about 50 minutes at about 355°. You can check whether it's done baking by stabbing the tip of a knife into the cake, pulling it out and checking if any dough sticks to it. If there's still liquid or half-liquid dough stuck to the knife, the cake needs a bit more time in the oven.

The baking time can vary depending on the oven and how well you preheated it.

Once the cake is done, take it out. You should let it sit inside the tin for about 10 minutes. Then you can turn it upside down on a cooling rack.
