It is true that a picture is worth a thousand words. These shots of a little girl meeting her baby brother for the first time might be the sweetest thing that you have ever seen.

When Dede Carraway went into labor, she would have never guessed how the moment would end. Dede's OB/GYN suggested an idea that Dede was not sure about at first.

It started when Dede's 12-year-old daughter, Jacee, came into the hospital room. With so many onlookers gathered around the laboring Dede, Jacee was worried that she might miss the big moment of her brother's arrival into this world. The OB/GYN then threw out the idea that Jacee be the one to help deliver the baby.

When Dr. Wolf suggested the idea, both Dede and Jacee panicked. But after much reassurance from Dr. Wolf, they agreed that it might be special.

Unfortunately for Dede, her epidural began to wear off and she was in a good deal of pain. However, the sweet look on her daughter's face as she witnessed the miracle of life helped to alleviate the pain.

Jacee was a great help in bringing her 7-pound, 6-ounce baby brother into the world. It was obvious from the start how much little Cayson Carraway is loved by his big sister.

Although Jacee had always said that she dreamed of being a veterinarian, her mother is now thinking that a career in medicine might be in her future instead. We don't know what life will hold for Jacee, but these pictures sure demonstrate what a great big sister she is already.

Dede is so happy that this incredible moment was captured in pictures. You will also be glad once you get the chance to see the pictures for yourself. Be sure to spread these pictures to all of your friends and family so that everyone else can see what a great job Jacee did in delivering her baby brother!
