Though Sophie Fatu did not win the grand prize on America's Got Talent in 2018, she is winning hearts all over the world.
At just 5 years old, Sophie was the youngest contestant on the show, and she impressed the judges with her incredible ability to remember the lyrics and change pitches on cue. After the show, she reinvented herself and kept singing.

Now she and her mother, Vicky Fatu, are blowing up big on social media. Their "Shallow" duet has almost 4 million views and over 200,000 likes. That is quite a feat for the mother/daughter duo.
In their beautiful rendition, taken from A Star is Born, mom and daughter belt out a powerful, yet lovely, rendition of the song. When Sophie sings, she looks like a little angel displaying heartfelt expressions to act out her words.
When Vicky opens her mouth and begins to sing, it is clear where Sophie's talent commenced. Vicky's voice is beautiful and strong. The two of them together have a Bette Midler/Shirley Temple vibe, and fans are loving the result. Even more amazing is that Sophie can sing her notes correctly even when mom sometimes harmonizes with her.

Vicky is not new to fame, however. In her native country of Russia, she is a famous pianist and singer. She was quite young when she started singing and playing and had an opportunity to showcase her musical talent all over the world.
She performed for such noted dignitaries as the Pope and Queen Elizabeth, reports VV Daily Press. It was a dream life that was cut short by the birth of her children. But as fate would have it, her talent would not remain dormant forever.
Since Sophie's appearance on AGT, doors have begun to open for the talented duo. Vicky even got another manager and has returned to her first love of music
They don't know what the future holds for them, but they believe they will be singing together for some time to come. As their subscriber list continues to grow, they continue to share their lives on social media, creating millions of loyal fans in the process.
