Six Talented Siblings Team Up For Gorgeous A Cappella Of Calum Scott Track

It's widely accepted that siblings have a special connection with one another. It's no wonder then that Better Together, a six-member sibling a cappella group, has become an internet sensation. In this 2019 video cover of English singer Calum Scott's You Are The Reason, Better Together shows off their talent and demonstrates how they've managed to accumulate more than a million views. 

If one or two siblings in the same family are lucky enough to possess singing talent, you are fortunate. However, if six siblings all inherit that same talent, you call it hitting the genetic lottery! Such is the case of the band Better Together.

Made up of the six McCormick siblings, including one brother and five sisters, Better Together has been performing in their local area and on social media for years. In this video, they come together to vocalize in harmony a chilling and mesmerizing rendition of You Are the Reason.

What makes this video so special on top of the amazing vocals, is that the group is made up of close-knit siblings. The words to the song become so much more meaningful as the sextuplet, of varying ages, belt out the lyrics with all their heart and soul.

As with any family gathering, there will be some chaos. The beginning of the video is an excellent depiction of this as the siblings come together into their positions. It is so easy to relate to this part of the video, making the group seem very down-to-earth and approachable. Then the singing begins, and all we can say is "wow!"

Once you see this performance, you will probably understand their band name better. At the end of the video, they hold up a sign that reads, "we are 6 siblings, we love music, we can get by on our own, but we are better together."

Well, we, for one, can totally agree that this group is truly better together. As the music starts, you can instantly tell they enjoy what they do! They clearly work well together and practice often. They have amazing control and are always on cue.

As the camera pans from singer to singer, you can tell they all feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. At the 1:40 mark, the lone male of the group takes over for a solo that will send chills down your spine. This is just one of the highlights of the video.

Toward the end of the video, one of the sisters offers us a sample of her buttery-smooth voice and control as she performs her second solo in the song. At this point, we are nearing the grand finale when all the siblings take part and send their voices roaring up together. Ugh, the goosebumps are real, folks!

The McCormick family, or Better Together, has over 70 thousand subscribers to their YouTube channel. This video alone has reached over 1.4 million views, has over 101 thousand "likes," and thousands of comments. That is quite the feat for this humble group of brother and sisters, who also have large followings on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
