It seems like nothing can stop the gymnastic force that is Simone Biles. At the young age of 22, the champion is not only the best gymnast in the country but in the world. Simone made headlines in 2016 at the Olympics in Rio when she received a gold medal for winning the all-around competition. But she’s not done yet. Today, the gymnast is breaking more records and she’s not even at the 2020 Olympics.

The World Champion was warming up this weekend when she performed a tucked triple-double on the floor, a move no female in history has ever done during competition. Olympic Channel reported that although Simone is not planning on competing this weekend when she does compete she will be the first woman to perform this maneuver.

Adding this new move to her arsenal will send the four-time gold champion to breaking history once again. Simone already has a move named after her, according to the International Gymnastics Federation, which added "The Biles" to its code of points, the move is a "Round off Flic-Flac with ½ turn (180°) on – stretched salto fwd with 2/1 turn (720°) off." In other words, its a double lay half-out with a front-facing landing. If you need more visual watch the video below.

Even with all Simone has accomplished in her short life she is still always pushing to be better. “Even when I win, there are still times when I’m upset,” she told The Guardian. Like at Worlds, last year. It doesn’t mean, because you win, you’ll be happy.” Why? “I fell twice. Yes, I still won. But I didn’t put out my best performance.” In light of the Olympics next year, Simone is training nearly all day. She told the magazine that she drives hope to nap really quick before her afternoon session, “We’ve trained our whole life to do this. This is our normal.”

Well, one thing’s for sure, we can’t wait to see Simone casually make history when she competes at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo! What do you think of her performance? Let us know in the comments and be sure to pass this article along.
