Danyl Johnson auditioned for "The X Factor UK" in 2009, not only did his performance blow the judges away but the notoriously harsh critic Simon Cowell said his act was "the best audition he'd ever heard." Johnson gave his own creative flair to The Beatles classic "With A Little Help From My Friends."

Johnson was only 27-years-old when he nervously walked out on the stage to perform for "The X Factor UK" judges. As an elementary school teacher Johnson said before his audition, "this is the biggest performance of my life, I am so nervous to walk out on that stage."

However, any nerves that Johnson had completely disappeared when he belted out the first lines of a soulful remix of "With A Little Help From My Friends." He then began to give a sultry take on the classic hit as he engaged with the audience as they screamed in praise. The judges looked at each other in disbelief as Johnson continued to wow them with his quirky dance moves and how he flipped the mic in his hands to the beat of the song.

At the end of his performance, all four judges were on their feet giving Johnson a standing ovation. All the judges sang Johnson praises however Simon Cowell's were probably the most touching. "I've been doing this for what? How many years? 8, 9 years? Danyl that was single-handedly the best first audition I have ever heard."

Danyl went on to make it to the final rounds of the X Factor but unfortunately lost, however, today he is still singing and wowing crowds.
