On an episode of "America's Got Talent," Simon Cowell stole another judges' golden buzzer to put his favorite act through. The golden buzzer sends talent acts all the way the finale.

The act which is known as "Boogie Storm" had competed on "Britain's Got Talent" where they were also Cowell's golden buzzer in 2016. Competing again on "America's Got Talent" the act performed a sensational dance routine while dressed as stormtroopers.

The group jammed out to songs like The Offspring’s "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" and Ariana Grande, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang. "This act were on Britain’s Got Talent, they were my Golden Buzzer," Simon said. "I swear to god. If it was me I’d give them the Golden Buzzer, I would."

However, it was Howie Mandel's decision to give the Golden Buzzer and he wasn't feeling it with "Boogie Storm." Howie said, "I can’t. You know what it’s my choice – sorry guys." However, Simon had other plans. He reached over and hit the Golden Buzzer stealing it from Howie and sending the group straight to the finale.

Everyone was shocked that Simon broke the rules but he justified it by saying, "These guys are one of the most original acts we’ve ever had, they have to be in the final, they have to be."
