Sick Mother Is Desperate For Lost Luggage When Airline Employee Visits Her Home In Dark Of Night

According to ABC news, Stacy Hurt was only 44 years old when she received her diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer.

Chemotherapy was recommended by her doctor, but this treatment is emotionally and physically taxing.

Stacy had become accustomed to bringing personal items, such as her rosary and a special shirt that she was comfortable in, for each treatment. She also was required to bring various essentials for her chemo treatments.

This wife and mother recently took a short trip to Nashville in between her chemo treatments. When she learned that her return flight home from Nashville was cancelled, she thankfully was able to get on an earlier flight.

Unfortunately, the first flight was canceled after she had already checked in her baggage. Her baggage did not make it on the same flight to Pittsburgh that she was on.

Once Stacy discovered that her bag with all of her chemo essentials was not on the plane with her, she understandably was extremely stressed.

Feeling panic envelop her, she reached for the phone to call the airline.

Stacy tried to calmly explain how important it was for her to get that bag before her chemo treatment in the morning. However, when she finally went to bed that night, the bag was not there. She also had no guarantee that the bag would be available in the morning.

As soon as she woke up the next morning, Stacy rushed to the front door. The feeling of relief that she felt upon finding your bag sitting on the doorstep was overwhelming. Someone from the airline had delivered the bag to her in the middle of the night.

Upon opening her suitcase, Stacy found a handwritten, heartfelt letter from the airline.
