It's like something out of a movie. Although we don't know if a Hollywood screenwriter could come up with something as incredibly heartwarming as this. Students from Sean's Dance Factory, a Miami dance studio, descended upon a nearby mall to bust a move. They ended up encountering some police officers. What happened next is truly for the ages.

A great audience

Other shoppers loved what the dancers were doing. It seemed like they were the toast of the mall. That is until the police officers came up. Based on their body language, it seems they were shutting down the operation, one that was good while it lasted but still cut short too soon.

An unexpected twist

Instead of shutting down the party, the officers were inviting themselves in. They took to the floor and started busting some moves themselves. Even with their uniforms on, they showed that they could boogie with the youngsters as good as anyone else.

Unity

Soon enough, the dancers and the officers were cutting loose together. It was a sight to behold and passersby were absolutely entranced. It's all but impossible to watch the video of the encounter and not be grinning from ear to ear. It reminds us of how many incredible things can happen when we least expect them to. The officers got to have a great deal of fun, while the dancers got to encounter officers who truly care about their community and the people who make it up.

Valuable lessons

From this encounter, we can learn about how much being a friend matters. You don't have to know someone's name or even have a similar background as them to be their friend. All you have to do is show them decency and respect. It doesn't cost a thing and it can make their day.
