This past holiday season was nothing short of a Christmas miracle for one Washington native. A woman had found a shocking surprise inside one of her gifts and it wasn't intended for her.

On Christmas morning, Shiloah Avery had received an Instant Pot, a highly sought-after programmable pressure cooker. As she removed the pot from its box, she had noticed a diamond wedding ring and band gleaming inside.

This was not a surprise proposal, as Avery had been married to her husband for years. The mysterious diamond ring looked like it was well-worn; in fact, the wedding band itself was meticulously soldered onto the wedding ring.

After finding out that the Instant Pot was purchased from the Walmart located in Port Orchard, WA, Avery went out of her way and posted a plea on Facebook to try and track the owner down.

She didn't describe what the ring looked like, just in case a fraudulent person would try to claim it as their own. On that same day, Joann Johnson just happened to see Avery's post and was elated that her ring was finally found. You see, Johnson had posted prior on Port Orchard Walmart's Facebook page that she had lost her ring somewhere in the store.

In the post, Johnson had asked for anyone who had found her ring to promptly return it to the store's customer service. She recalls that she must have had lost her ring after checking out various Instant Pot models that the store carried.

To prove that she was the true owner, Johnson had sent a picture of her ring to Avery. Around 10 p.m., the lost ring was finally returned to its rightful owner, and we can definitely say that this Christmas was truly one that both women will never forget.
