Shelter Cat Clings To Woman Who Can’t Adopt Him - So She Vows To Help Him Find Perfect Family

Jessica Parken and Andy Brumagen were recently walking by a pet shop. They were struck by a beautiful cat in the window and they simply had to stop in and say hello. The two cat lovers asked the owner if they could cuddle with the cat for a little while. The owner revealed that the cat was up for adoption and asked them if they were interested.

The pet store owner revealed the lovely cat after taking him out of his cat condo. When the store owner handed him over to Parken, they were all shocked by what happened next.

The cat was enamored with Parken and he clung to her neck as though she was his best friend that he hadn’t seen in years. The cat simply wouldn’t let go. He clearly loved to be cuddled and to have all the attention.

Parken didn’t realize she would fall for the feline friend so quickly but as soon as he wrapped his paws around her she knew it was love. She nicknamed the cat “Clutch” for his clinging behavior.

However, when Parken and Brumagen spoke about it, they were heartbroken. They realized with their three year old son at home alongside their 19-year-old cat, they couldn’t adopt their new friend. Clutch’s adoption papers revealed that he was not great with other cats or children.

Parken and Brumagen loved Clutch, but they realized it wouldn’t be a great fit for either of them. They knew they had to find the perfect home for him where he would be loved and cherished.

When they realized they wouldn’t be able to adopt Clutch, Brumagen and Parken decided that they would ensure he found the best forever home. Brumagen posted a video of Jessica holding the cat to social media trying to reach out to all their friends and family.

The video quickly went viral when it became obvious how lovely Clutch was. The video demonstrated Clutch’s deep love for people while he nuzzled Parken’s neck and hugged her.

The video showed just how sweet this little feline was and it quickly went viral. Everyone in Kenmore fell in love with this sweet cat.
