She Is Strong Because She Has A Loved One In Heaven

She knows what real heartache is like. This is the heartache that you can never repair with a rebound man or a drunken night on the town. This type of heartache happens when someone you love is gone and will never come back.

She is strong because she made a real connection with someone who was beautiful and amazing. That person deserved to live a very loving, healthy life, free from pain and disappointment. But it wasn’t meant to be. That person was taken away from her too soon.

She knows she wasn’t given enough time with them. She did not say all of the things she should have. It isn’t fair, but she has learned that sometimes life is just unfair for seemingly no good reason.

Even though it really isn’t okay, it is.

She questioned everything she knew about herself on the day she found out the tragic news. She questioned her God and her faith. She questioned the meaning of life. She wondered how someone so amazing could be taken from her.

Her strength did dip lower than it ever had before. However, it didn’t completely abandon her. She wouldn’t be here if it had.

But she is here. She is still facing every day to the best of her ability.

The death of her loved one has made her a much stronger person. That is because she has had to deal with one of the worst circumstances that you can be faced with. A death means talking to the funeral home and deciding on arrangements, all while in shock. It means fielding the hundreds of well-meaning phone calls, texts, messages, and visits. It means getting through days that you just want to sleep through but you can’t.

She got through these times and came out stronger than ever, even though she wished she could trade places with the person who had passed away. She is here, and she is still strong. She can still smile and enjoy life.

That doesn’t mean that she won’t cry any longer. As she flips through her photo albums she will feel the tears welling up. The “On This Day” memory feature of Facebook will hit her like a ton of bricks when a picture of her loved one pops up unexpectedly. She will cry when she has to drive by the graveyard or when she spots the urn on her mantle. She will tear up when she is lying in bed at night, unable to stop the flood of memories that come rushing back in the silence.

However, these tears make her a survivor. They do not make her weak-they make her stronger than ever.

She is strong because she has been able to handle the biggest loss anyone could ever deal with. She knows what it is like to have pain that doesn’t go away. She feels the ache of wanting to talk to someone but not being able to. She can reach out as much as she can to try and find her lost love, but she will not touch them again.

She hasn’t let death turn her cynical, though. Her heart and soul are full of love that she is willing to give out to those around her.

She is always there for her friends when they suffer through a similar loss. She will always be someone that others can lean on. She knows what they have gone through and she wants to be there for them. She does not let her past haunt her.

She is strong because she has gotten through the death of someone she loved more than anything. She knows she can now make it through whatever is thrown her way. She will always come out on top.
