Sharon Osbourne Lambasted After Changing Hair Color From Crimson to Platinum: It 'Makes You Look Older'

Sharon Osbourne has officially ditched her iconic dark burgundy tresses to rock her natural shade of white.

She debuted her new look on Monday and commentators have reacted both positively and negatively.

The 67-year-old talk show host was unrecognizable as she revealed her hair transformation – 100% white hair.

Her colorist, Jack Martin shared the image of the wife of Ozzy Osbourne, as he explained that she had been having to dye her hair once a week to maintain her trademark red. And she was tired of it.

“Another great day in my career welcoming the most beautiful and elegant talk show host and entertainer @sharonosbourne for a complete transformation,” the caption wrote.

"Sharon has 100% white hair and she was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years. She explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation [a] long time ago but every time she attempts it ends up with a disaster."

He added that she was obligated to keep going for touch-ups since she is on TV almost every day hosting ‘The Talk’. He didn’t promise her anything except that he would try his best, and it paid off. After 8 hours and blow drying it to perfection, her fresh crowning glory was revealed.

Social media users who have seen the new pictures have mixed opinions on Sharon's white locks. Supportive comments have come from fans and even from celebrity accounts. Comedian George Lopez loved the look and commented "Love it 🔥🔥" on the CBS show's Instagram while the singer/rapper Eve said "❤️🙌🏾 beautiful."

Others feel it doesn't suit her saying, "Not liking sharons hair! Sorry.. makes her look older.." or "Go back to red!"
