Sharon And Ozzy Osbourne Celebrate 38th Marriage Anniversary With Throwbacks

Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne celebrated 38 years of marriage on July 4, with Sharon posting a series of flashback videos of the pair to Instagram. The videos depicted the couple embracing and kissing, as they spent time relaxing together at home and also out at red-carpet premieres.

Together for over 40 years, the British couple's love story has been widely documented ever since their reality TV show The Osbournes began in 2002.

Posting to Instagram, Sharon uploaded a video that was composed of clips of the couple over the years. In it, they're kissing and being affectionate, at red-carpet premieres, and simply spending time together at home. Zayn's song Dusk Til Dawn soundtracks the sweet montage video. It's clear from the videos that their love for each other is deep and that they've been through so much as a couple. She captioned her post:

"40 years together, 38 years of marriage, why did it go so quickly? Wasn’t it yesterday our kids were babies, we were young and thought we knew everything. Your love makes me feel safe and brave, you are a part of me, you’re in my soul forever my darling. Always, your Sharon ❤️"

Ozzy posted his own sweet tribute, sharing two photos of them on their wedding day, which took place in July 1982. He captioned his post with a simple yet touching, "Happy Anniversary My Love!" The pictures depict Ozzy and Sharon looking impeccably stylish for the time, with Ozzy sporting his signature long hair in a lighter brown shade with an unmistakable 1980s layered cut. 

Ozzy, 71, hails from Birmingham, England, and rose to fame as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath in the late '60s and '70s. While working for her father who was managing Black Sabbath, Sharon, now 67, met Ozzy at 18-years-old and soon after the couple wed. They went on to have three children together—Aimee, 36, Kelly, 35, and Jack, 34. In 2002 they started a reality show called The Osbournes, which aired on MTV until 2005. Ozzy and Sharon and the two youngest of their children featured in it, which took a candid approach to their unconventional life.

Ozzy also has three children named Jessica, Louis, and Elliot, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.

Sharon and Ozzy have weathered a lot together as a couple. Sharon's battle with colon cancer in 2002 brought the family closer and was even featured on their show The Osbournes. Meanwhile, Ozzy revealed just earlier this year that he has a mild form of Parkinson's Disease. Over the years it's become clear that Sharon and Ozzy have an unbreakable bond as a couple and one that extends to their entire family. Happy anniversary to them!
