Shania Twain Announces Her Next Vegas Residency

Twainiacs rejoice! Country music superstar Shania Twain has just announced that she will be doing a second Las Vegas residency at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

People reported that Twain (53) will be kicking off the show in December 2019 all the way through to June 2020. It is a follow up to her first headlining residency called “Shania: Still The One” from 2012-2014, initially at Caeser’s Palace.

This time around, the show will be called “Let’s Go!” as a nod to her hit “Man! I Feel Like A Woman.” In a press release, it was said that the show will combine a “three-decade-long career with inspiration from her iconic videos and elements from her 2018 sold-out global NOW tour.”

The five-time Grammy award singer spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the concept of the show, of which she is the Creative Director. She told reporters, “I get to settle down with a great production and have a party...So I'm gonna theme the show after a party. It's time to party!"

Tickets go on sale June 21 at 1 pm ET and 10 am PT. Don’t snooze on getting your tickets, they are only $60 each, with $1 of each ticket sale going to her foundation, Shania Kids Can. According to their website, the organization benefits kids across North America in an “effort to relieve the economic, social and personal sufferings of children that Shania herself experienced as a child.”

If you have already seen her last residency, Twain promises that this one is very different from the last. She also looks forward to seeing families attend the show since her fans from the 90s have now become parents.

She told Entertainment Tonight that "It's just so awesome and it's a privilege to be a generation bridge, really, with my music. That's what music does."
