This video is an interview with Tina from Kansas who was fortunate enough to get a makeover from the Makeover Guy, a.k.a. Christopher Hopkins. The video begins with a slightly nervous Tina declaring she would rather feel temporary fear than regret not doing something. When you see what we did, you will not believe fear was ever-present.

Tina, who admits to facing a variety of challenges and loss in her life, feels like she has somehow lost her 'shine' and would love to get it back. She has straight, dark-brown hair that seems to be almost heavy.

Though Tina is already a beautiful woman, she could definitely use some help in lightening up. Tina's reveal after the makeover proves that not only is her 'shine' back, but she absolutely shimmers!

Christopher Hopkins has not only made a name for himself with his best-selling book, Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45, but also for his album, I'll be Seeing You. He has also wowed people with his incredible television makeovers.

He is the founder of MAKEOVER GUY Appearance Studios which is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and which is where all the magic happens. Christopher seems to have been born with a knack for makeovers, as his mother recalled him working on his sister's dolls' hairstyles often. It seems Christopher has totally found his calling, and the women who have been lucky enough to get one of his coveted makeovers are a testament to this.

At Tina's reveal, you get to see that her heavy hairstyle is now a light, bouncy set of layers just a shade or two lighter than her original color. She is glowing, but she is also near tears. As the tears threaten to spill from her made-up eyes (eek, let's hope that is waterproof make-up),

Tina confides that she thinks the style looks beautiful. She also says that she has never used the word 'beautiful' to describe herself. Aww...

We know that it can be easy considering all of life's demands to get lost in a particular style or look over the years. It's easy and it works for the time being. Then, you realize you've been sporting the exact same hairstyle for years. It gets hard to feel beautiful. What an amazing thing for Christopher to be able to give women this kind of self-confidence boost. It is clear to see how moved Tina is by her new look, and she deserves it.
