Serena Williams Talked About Having Meghan Markle's Support At the U.S. Open

Serena Williams and Meghan Markle’s friendship still remains strong even though both have recently become new mothers. Williams revealed how highly she thinks of Meghan and how the Duchess has been there for her as a friend. 

Williams spoke to E! News about Meghan and the support the friends give one another. "Meghan is amazing," Williams said. "She literally flew across the seas just to support for a few hours with a newborn baby."

"She is the most positive, amazing human that I know," she added. "Everyone needs to know how amazing she is. I don’t know if I could have done that with my daughter at that age. But she did it. And that shows the kind of person that she is."

Williams is speaking about how Meghan flew commercial to New York City so she could watch her best friend play in the US Open. Meghan Markle supported her gal pal earlier this year when Williams played her match against Kaja Juvan at Wimbledon.
