Who knew that Santa Claus actually lives in Idaho?

Well, at least he did this Christmas season. The anonymous Santa has been spreading love and joy through the East Idaho community for years. Whether it be new cars, clothes, or cash, the generous Santa has been helping people in need for numerous holiday seasons. Santa relies on the help of elves to deliver the gifts to the deserving families.

This year's recipient was a widow and her four children. Santa's helpers from East Idaho News had the pleasure of delivering a check for $10,000 to Abby Toone and her sweet children

It has been a rough few months for Abby and her family. Last September, her husband Jonathan Toone was stung by a swarm of wasps while out working on his Idaho property. The 37-year-old U.S. Army Reserve soldier suffered a massive reaction after the stings. Jonathan immediately drove for help but did not make it before he collapsed and died in his wife's arms at a nearby neighbor's house.

With four children under the age of ten, Abby admits that life since that tragic day has been a struggle. The young widow burst into tears when she saw the check for the massive amount of money that had just been gifted to her.

As a popular area cosmetologist, Abby is known to give back to customers in need. It is karma that a member of the community was able to help her out this time.

After delivering the check, the staff at East Idaho News invited the children to go for a helicopter ride over the beautiful snowy mountains. After a trying year, it was a simply beautiful day for the entire Toone family.

Don't let the magic of the holidays escape without spreading the joy of this heartwarming story. Now is the time to make sure that all of your friends and family learn of this touching Christmas story. Spread the yuletide cheer while you still can!
