Although Transport For London is active on their Twitter, there isn't a lot of interaction from their followers. After all, posts about delays and collisions can only receive so many retweets and likes.

However, there is one post that stands out amongst the rest with thousands of retweets and likes. Two seagulls are enjoying their 15 minutes of fame after a video of their shenanigans went viral. These two birds helped TFL's Twitter gain attention from around the world after they were repeatedly caught on video landing on top of a traffic camera on Brunswick Road.

The roaming reporters have since become major internet hits. It turns out that many people online are interested in seeing seagulls fly in front of security cameras. In reality, everyone finds these videos more interesting than traffic news.

TFL shared a video on their Twitter of the cute seagulls on Tuesday. In the video's caption, TFL called one of the two seagulls their "reporter just north of the Blackwall Tunnel.....". Although this reporter wasn't offering any information of value, he certainly was more entertaining than normal.

The video has since been watched over 2 million times and liked over 80,000 times. The manager of TFL's social media account owes these seagulls a lot of gratitude. It's not easy for the Twitter page of a local government to gain attention and these seagulls made that possible with their hilarious antics.

The two seagulls have made a habit of stopping by TFL's cameras. Obviously, the birds haven't gotten enough of the spotlight. The seagulls have been named Steve and Graeme by TFL. Although it isn't clear how the organization determined the sex of the birds, they may release more information on this topic in the future. For now, the names Steve and Graeme will do just fine.

After the internet was introduced to the dynamic duo on Monday, the seagulls have already made many more visits. It's safe to assume that the Twitter masses will have their needs met in regards to these silly birds. One viewer even claimed that the birds would be the future mayors of London. Countless other commenters have made clever puns and jokes about them.
