Scared Dog With A Broken Heart Found Roaming Near Train Tracks Is Rescued Just In Time

Feb 05, 2018 by apost team

This sweet old dog was found roaming near a railroad station, cold and visibly underweight. A team of rescuers knew they needed to help the dog, but it was so risky to do since the poor pooch was in a dangerous situation. Do you approach the dog but scare it so that it runs away down the tracks or do you slowly approach it and risk a train eventually passing through? But this team had a plan!

The team followed the dog until it was safely on the road, which was difficult to do because he kept running away every time they approached him. The team noticed it was limping and had an infection on its eye. It was clear that this poor little pup needed their help, so they didn't give up.

Tired and desperate for food, the dog finally decided to trust its followers and came over to inspect the treats they held out in their hand for him. He happily munched, and they were able to safely tie a leash around his neck and take him to the vet.

He received a full examination, and the team was happy to find out that it had been microchipped! They were excited about the possiblity of having a happy reunion with the owner, but when they called the number associated with the chip, they received bad news...
