For drivers who live in areas with cold weather there isn't anything more frustrating than having to deal with foggy car windows. You have to head out in the morning, but you can't until you can get the fog to clear up.

There are many different solutions put out by different sources on the internet as to what can best do away with window fog. Luckily for all of us, one man decided to take it upon himself to find the best trick for getting rid of foggy windows, and he may have found the perfect solution.

Chris Fix was one of these drivers having to deal with fog caused by the cold. Having heard of the various hacks people have supposedly used to help de-fog their windows he decided to put them to the test. His skepticism prompted him to film a video performing a brilliant experiment.

Chris took some painters tape and created five sections on the driver's side window of his car. These five sections were then used to test the different solutions that people have proposed: baby shampoo, hand sanitizer, potatoes, RainX, and shaving cream.

After applying the different solutions to each of the sections set apart by the tape Chris then took a pot of hot water into his car in order to fog the windows up.

Naturally, he discovered that some of the solutions didn't do anything to prevent the windows from fogging up. However, it was revealed that some of the solutions actually worked quite well. It turns out that some of these household hacks actually did hold some water!

Chris' video experiment has spread throughout the web like wildfire, and now many people throughout the country are performing their own window tests to see what else they can use to get that pesky morning fog to dissipate!

Be sure to watch the video above, and feel free to spread the word about Chris' window fog experiment to everyone you know. Don't forget to tell us what you think in the comments below!
