Sarah Ferguson Confirms Location Of Princess Beatrice’s Wedding To Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi
Ever since Princess Beatrice’s engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi was announced last month, many royal fans have been wondering whether the couple would wed in Italy or Britain.
However, mother to Princess Beatrice Sarah Ferguson revealed this week on the red carpet for the British Film Institute Luminous Gala where the wedding will take place after all.
Ferguson spoke to reporters on the red carpet about her daughter's engagement to millionaire Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi.
"It's just extraordinary, she's just such a beauty and to see her eyes shining,” she sai, as per the Mirror.
The 59-year-old also revealed she’s known Mozzi as well as his family for a very long time.
"I've known him all my life. His brother is my godson,” she said. "I'm so proud, and I've known Edo since he was four, and he's got a lovely mum,” she added.
When reporters quizzed the proud mom on the location of the Royal wedding, she made it clear it would take place in the United Kingdom.
"It can only be Britain and anyway don’t believe what you read,” she revealed.
Buckingham Palace announced the couple’s engagement on September 26.
“We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married. We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
