Royal Fans Are Astonished By How Much Archie Looks Like Prince Harry As A Baby

This Monday, the royal Sussex family kickstarted their African tour in South Africa, and we’ve since seen the Duke and Duchess dance, Markle give a powerful speech on gender violence and a young boy in Nyanga get the royal hug of his dreams. 

One particular royal event, however, has excited fans across the globe; on Wednesday morning, 5-month-old Archie was taken to his very first official engagement, where he met Archibishop Desmond Tutu. The meeting marks the first time the public was able to see the little Prince’s face. 

The Sussexes met the Archbishop Tutu along with his daughter Thandeka Tutu Gxashe to learn more about The Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.

In an Instagram post of Harry, Meghan, baby Archie, and the Archbishop, he is described as “a globally respected figure in the anti-apartheid movement, is one of the world’s great champions of equality, and has spent his life tirelessly battling injustice.”

Before yesterday, royal fans could only wonder what Archie looked like and if he’d inherit his dad’s signature red locks. 

Ever since the release of photos from the meeting (which has since been dubbed Arch meets Archie), Twitter is overflowing with users raving about how the 5-month-old not only looks like Prince Harry’s mini-me, but also how he looks just like the duke did when he was a baby! 

Apart from his looks, we’ve also gotten to know a little bit more about Archie’s character. According to the Telegraph, Meghan described the boy as an “old soul” and the Archbishop's daughter Thandeka said he was a “ladies man.”
