Royal Baby Photos: 11 Cutest Pics Of Prince William, Princess Anne & More

The royal family has captured the attention of the world for their incredible fashion choices and charity work. The public is enamored with the entire clan and can’t seem to get enough of the latest photos and information about the family. It is also fun to look back into the past and see what the royals were like as babies. 

The royal family is quite large. The Queen and the late Prince Phillip have four children, eight grandchildren and, as of April 2021, they have 10 great-grandchildren. This means plenty of christenings, birthdays and other royal celebrations to take photos of and create memories. 

The birth of a royal baby is an exciting event in history. Most of the senior royals were born at St. Mary's Hospital in London. This is also where Prince William and Prince Harry were born, as well as Prince William’s three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Here is the Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, looking so sweet as she sleeps in her stroller while wearing a white bonnet. The picture was taken on her first outing on October 9, 1926. She was born April 21, 1926 making her only 5 months old when the photo was taken. Her delicate features and elegant baby carriage make for the perfect royal baby photo.

Prince Charles was born to the Queen while she was still a princess. The picture shows him asleep after his christening on December 5, 1948. The prince was only a month old when the picture was taken. 

This picture shows Prince William at 10-months-old with his parents Princess Diana and Prince Charles. The photo was taken in April 1983 during a royal tour of New Zealand, and the family is sitting on the lawn of the Government House in Auckland.

This smiling blonde baby boy is 1-year-old Prince Phillip. The picture was taken in July 1922 and shows off the prince’s adorable smock and sweet face. What a cute baby!

Here we see Princess Diana as at age one, sitting on a red plaid blanket and looking a little upset. The rare private photo of Diana during her childhood was taken on her first birthday at Park House, Sandringham, on July 1, 1962. At this point in time, nobody had any idea that she would later marry Prince Charles and become such an important figure decades down the line.

This sweet picture shows Prince Charles giving Princess Anne a delicate kiss on her cheek when she was still an infant. The picture was taken a month after her birth on September 15, 1950. Princess Anne now has two children of her own, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall. She is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth.

This precious photo of Prince Harry was taken on board the royal yacht Britannia. You can see Princess Diana holding her son and smiling. The picture was taken during the Princess’s tour of Italy in May 1985. Harry was only 8 months old at the time. The prince now has a son and daughter of his own, little Archie Harrison, who was born May 6, 2019 and recently born Lilibet, who saw the light of day on June 4, 2021. 

Such big beautiful eyes! Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, is seen in the photo being held by the Queen on June 13, 1964. The boy was three months old in the picture and looked so adorable posing with his mother. 

This is a photo that was published in the Queen’s coronation book. It shows little Princess Margaret looking absolutely precious in her white bonnet and dress, while holding a toy. Her big beautiful eyes are looking off to the side of the camera, and we think she already looked regal as an infant. 

This is a photo of Princess Charlotte at her christening in 2015. She is wearing a cream-colored dress and laying in an elegant baby carriage, which is very reminiscent of the photo of baby Queen Elizabeth we looked at before.
