It is a rare sight to see such seasoned musicians get back together and put on a quality show after so much time on their own. When a group like Foreigner gets together after so much time, there is no result but greatness. As one of the most successful bands of all time in their industry, Foreigner is a unique group in the world of rock and roll.

Due to the extreme popularity of its many hit songs, Foreigner was able to change lead singers without affecting the band’s overall success.

The whole journey got started with Mick Jagger and Al Greenwood back in 1976.

When Foreigner was originally formed, Lou Gramm and Ed Gagliardi joined as the final two additions, reports All Music. They released their debut album not long after, and it sold a whopping total of just above four million copies. This was quite an impressive start for a new act.

Johnny Edwards took over as lead singer once Lou Gramm departed in 1990.

Gramm would actually rejoin the band in 1992, but this would only last he departed again in 1997. After some time, Kelly Hansen would take over the mic, and he is still the lead singer of Foreigner.

Foreigner has been around for 40 years, and this was the first time the original members were able to perform with the current lineup. Foreigner’s live performance took place at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan in 2017.

The band wanted to do something special to celebrate its 40th anniversary, so they decided to get together and put on a show. The surprise performance left fans pleased and thrilled.

The whole gang is here - including Lou Gramm, Dennis Elliott, Al Greenwood, and Ian McDonald.

Seeing these incredibly talented musicians play together on stage is a beautiful thing. The chemistry between members will remind listeners of the Foreigner they know and love. It is great to experience who and what all created such an impactful music career.

How much fun the band had on stage reminds of each member’s love for the genre of rock and roll.

I Want To Know What Love Is,” the most popular track from Foreigner’s fifth studio album, rocked the crowd and the reunion and proved to be a favorite of many.

The audience was having a blast, and you can even hear them singing along during the show! Although Gramm is a bit shy, Hansen makes up for it by engaging the audience and making sure they are having a great time.

Since Foreigner’s big hit is a romantic one, Hansen addressed the crowd by saying “everybody should reach out and put their arm around somebody.” Gramm had a proud look on his face that showed he was happy to be playing again with the original crew.

After a tiresome struggle with health issues, Gramm is back up to speed, and we are thrilled to see it.

The whole band looked fantastic out there! Who knows what the band’s 50th anniversary will bring! One video of the performance has been bringing in quite the ratings
