Robin Williams’ Son Zak Welcomes Daughter Zola With Wife Olivia June — Announce They’re ‘Over-The-Moon’

The late actor Robin Williams was beloved by many — from young children who grew up watching him voice the Genie in Disney's "Aladdin," to older folks who were familiar with his '70s and '80s-era comedy, Robin was one of those rare actors who crossed generations. Tragically, he died in 2014 from suicide, and ever since the world has mourned his loss.

Still honored by fans everywhere, Robin was a source of light to many and his own children are doing their best to continue on his legacy. Father to three kids, Robin's eldest child is Zak Williams, who he had with his first wife Valerie Velardi. Then with his second wife Marsha Garces, he had a daughter Zelda Williams and another son named Cody Williams. Zak is a mental health advocate who runs his own business, while Zelda and Cody both followed their father's footsteps and have built careers in Hollywood.

Zak, who is 38 and has a family of his own with his wife Olivia June, is a father to 2-year-old Mickey, and he's made an effort to ensure he and his wife teach their son about his grandfather, particularly through Robin's work in "Aladdin."

Now, the couple has even more reason to celebrate, as they welcome a second child — a daughter named Zola. Sharing their new bundle of joy on Instagram, the couple posted a picture of the adorable infant, welcoming her into the world. The tiny tot is even showing a touch of her grandfather's features already. Let's take a look at the Williams family's newest addition.

As the eldest of Robin Williams' children, Zak Williams is undoubtedly carrying on his father's legacy in a positive way. Alongside his wife Olivia June, Zak co-founded the company PYM, which stands for Prepare Your Mind. Specializing in mood chews that help to ease anxiety, Zak is also a devout mental health advocate who often works with charities that help to bring awareness to mental health issues and reduce the stigma they carry in society.

He and June have also started their own family. Parents to 2-year-old Mclaurin "Mickey" Clement, the couple just welcomed their second child, a daughter named Zola. Alongside an absolutely gorgeous picture of the infant, Zak captioned his post on Instagram:

"Introducing our newest member of the family, Zola June Williams! Since joining us, she’s getting on amazingly with her big brother @mickeycwilliams and has proven to be one laid back little girl. @heyoliviajune is doing awesome and we are over-the-moon to be welcoming Zola into the world!"

Zak posted a series of photos including two of baby Zola, in which she's wearing a leopard-print onesie and a floral print one in another photo. Even as a newborn she already has style! In another photo, her elder brother Mickey is holding her with a big smile on his face, and in the last picture, the entire family is seen relaxing together, all with big smiles on their faces.

Although the couple didn't release specific details about Zola's birth, according to the Daily Mail, June revealed in an Instagram story that her daughter was born at the end of May. She wrote:

"2.5 weeks into being a mom of two. And my nanny is [out] for a few days. But. I think I got this?!!?"

The accompanying video June posted to her Instagram story showed her walking with her son in a red push car while holding baby Zola in a sling. Before June became a mom of two, Zak honored her on Mother's Day with a touching post. Alongside a series of photos of her alone and with Mickey, Zak wrote:

"Happy Mother’s Day to the BEST MOM a boy could ask for. @mickeycwilliams and I love you so!"

June commented on the post, "Awe love you guys more than everything. ❤️❤️." Now that their family has grown to four, we can only imagine how happy they all are.

The couple, who met in 2014 around the time that Robin passed away, are both mental health advocates. Through their company and advocacy work, they're working to minimize the stigmas associated with mental health issues. Zak uses his Instagram to often speak up on topics related to mental health — everything from bringing awareness to PTSD suffered by war veterans to suicide prevention, which hits very close to home for him. Meanwhile, June often posts about topics related to women on her channel.

The couple recently appeared on "The Me You Can't See," Prince Harry and Oprah's new mental health docuseries that streams on Apple TV+. While on the series, Zak talked about his issues with drinking and drugs, which he described as "generational." In the decades before taking his own life, Robin's history of substance abuse was well known. Zak also vowed to "break the cycle" considering he is now a father himself.
