Quite a change from someone who had to get Mel Gibson to pay his insurance bond in 2003 for the film The Singing Detective because none of the insurance companies was willing to cover the project.

Robert Downey Jr. is currently 54. He is the second-highest grossing box star of all time, with his films making $14.4 billion worldwide so far. He is most well-known for his role as Tony Stark/Ironman in ten movies.
